Now that summer has hit (finally!), I’m thinking our traditional Aveda Comforting Tea served hot is just not going to fly.  Who wants hot tea at their hair appointment after sweating in the summer humidity, not me. So, this Saturday I made three different iced teas for guests to try… Orange Iced Tea, Ginger-mint Iced Tea or Peach Iced Tea. This way I could perfect the fan favorite recipe to share with you all. The winning recipe as I’m sure you can guess was the Peach Iced Tea.

I enjoy tea, but I wouldn’t call myself a tea drinker. I usually just stick to some sort of water infusion or coffee 🙂  So even if you’re not a big fan of tea this recipe is worth it. It’s basically magic in a cup. The licorice is used to sweeten it, but there isn’t any sugar in it. It’s so delicious, you will not be disappointed.

You can purchase the Aveda Comforting Tea here at Dimensions. It comes as loose tea (I recommend this version, more bang for your buck!). An alternative for the loose tea is the tea bags which are also available. If you don’t own a tea ball for the loose tea, don’t worry. Dimensions will give you one with purchase.

The loose tea comes with 4.9 oz and it costs $27.50. Yes, that’s pretty pricey for tea, but it’s organic and amazing. If you’re a Starbucks drinker blown away by the price, just think of how much you pay for a single serving 😉 There’s no caffeine, sugar, or added flavors. It’s heaven in a cup… A.K.A an herbal infusion of licorice rootfennel, and peppermint that is caffeine and sugar free.
