Congrats to Linda Babineau for winning this years’ Total Beauty Makeover Contest!

Linda’s day will begin with an hour long Hot Stone Massage, then Elemental Nature Facial, she will then move to the design room where stylists will create the most flattering hair color, cut and style for Linda- with personal instructions on how to style so she is sure to be able to recreate it at home. While Linda’s hair color is processing she will enjoy a catered lunch of her choice in our guest lounge. To complete her new look and day of pampering, she will have her makeup applied and at-home-lesson by one of our talented makeup artists. We are here to pamper! You deserve it Linda. We look forward to making your day a special one.

Thank you all for taking the time to vote on our Facebook page for your favorite out of the three stories. All the entries posted on Facebook really moved us all. And since we feel like all the women are so deserving, we’ve decided to share the love and give a $100 gift card to Dimensions for each of our runners-up too. #empowerwomen #deserving

To read our winner, Linda B’s, story and our runners-up, Linda C. and Jenn’s story, check out below.

“When I saw you were giving away a makeover I couldn’t resist! I am at 65-year-old woman who’s 41 year old learning disabled daughter will be getting married May 2. I have had my daughter with me for all of the 40 is except this past year, since she’s moved out on her own. I truly need a makeover before her wedding! I want to look my best and I don’t want to look 65!! I have been to your salon before for a wonderful massage. I know you can do some tremendous things for people to make them feel wonderful. I hope you’ll consider me for your makeover contest– I would truly appreciate it!”

“Jen chose a career helping the homeless and is my most self-less, well deserving friend. She is always been the friend I know I can count on so I’d like to do something nice for her. Jen is starting a new venture at work and will now be working with a new homeless population to house. In her childhood she didn’t grow up learning about hair, makeup or other girly things like that. She is a “plane Jane” type. She admits that even now, in her late 20s, she still doesn’t know much about hair or makeup. I think that if Jen won this makeover it would greatly improve her confidence and give her the boost she needs and deserves as she starts her new career venture serving the homeless in a new community. Please vote for my friend Jen.”

WINNER of the Total Beauty Makeover! With 58 votes on the Dimensions’ Facebook… Linda Babineau!

“My daughter Linda Babineau is one in a million. Her motherly instinct took over in a minute when her granddaughter was diagnosed with a heart defect. She was instrumental in getting her the proper treatment at Boston children’s hospital for several surgeries. In 2012 she started a fund drive called Savanna’s Banana,s “Heart Hero Team” which involved Savi’s aunts, uncle and friends. They came up with an idea with bananas in a sugar cone with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, sprinkles and a cherry. The profits and donations allowed the team to purchase items for Comfort Bags given to families with Cardiovascular Intensive Care Units in Hospitals across New England States. These bags were later delivered by Savi and her team to Boston Children’s Hospital. She still continues to help when she can because Savi recently had a miracle happen. She was graciously gifted with a four year old heart organ, whom they are forever thankful. After her January transplant my daughter and husband have been 24/7 at her side. From doctor appointments to managing all her seventeen medication and unconditional love for their four year old precious granddaughter. I highly recommend a spa make over for my daughter who I believe is truly deserving of a day of pampering and relaxation after three months of intense physical a mental anguish. Today she’s at BC for a cath to see if there’s any rejection. Hopefully we will hear only good news. If you have time we would love to have you check out on Facebook -savannasbananas for more information. Thank you for your time and concern”
