How can you achieve a healthy glow without looking like an oompa-loompa? Easy! Just follow these tips.

First: Finding the right tone for you.

Satiny, golden brown and deep bronze for medium to deep skin

Aveda’s Brazilian Sun Bronzer: Satiny, golden brown and deep bronze for medium to deep skin

Aveda's Amazonia Bronzer: Satiny, warm brown and peach for fair to medium skin

Have you ever felt that your face looks dirty after applying your bronzer. Simple solution for you, get rid of the sparkles! Bronzers with sparkly flecks are meant to be used to highlight- not contour. I find that Aveda’s Amazonia and Brazilian Sun Bronzers work best.

To apply bronzer correctly:

1. Use your finger to find your cheekbone.

2. Using an angled brush, drag bronzer down the bottom of your checkbone.

3. Shade up

Don’t try and use your bronzer to make yourself appear tan and use it all over your face. Instead, use it to contour your face and highlight your cheekbones. Remember:  darker shades create depth- so wherever you don’t put the bronzer will be highlighted (Hint! Hint! Your cheekbones!)

Good luck! Comment with questions and feedback
